Never heard of them, but that's probably the cheapest I've come across... Thanks for the link, I shall keep that for future use..

I wouldn't be wanting a cabinet with it. My uncle is a joiner so he's going to make me a nice one.

Having a look on that ND aquatics link now. The tank sizes seem a bit better as they are 24" wide rather than 18". Thanks :)

Sorry to hijack the thread. Darkstar have you bought a tank from ND aquatics? If so whats your experience with them?

Yes I do own a tank by them...sort of.
I bought a 48x18x24 tank through a company, sorry I forget the name now, and they went bust(I think) soon after...a couple of months later this company sprang up in the same address doing the same thing. So I guess it changed hands etc and they re-branded it...it's the same products though, no doubt made by the same people I guess.

The tanks are bare-bones but well made and look excellent. Put it this way, at some point this year I'm putting an order in for an 8ft from them....so that should tell you what I think better than anything I could say here.

Also do you know if they do delivery?

yes they do...but I can't remember prices as I only live 15 miles away from them anyway so it was a minor issue for me. They're in Hertford though...a quick ring and I'm sure they'll let you know the exact prices.

Ive heard of them! they had aquariums advertised on ebay a while back. I contacted them to get a tank made and they were very slow responding and not very helpful so I got one made by a company called leaches aquariums in Bradford which you can see in my marine thread.

My 6x2x2 was from Mer Aquatics, though they used to be a loit cheaper (like £99.99 +VAT for a 6x2x2).

Can't fault the service I got (which wasn't great) since I was paying such a small amount.
