Hey everyone,
I have a 4ft, 50g tank with 3 gold Gouramis, 20 white cloud minnows and 2 albino Bristlenose catfish, (which just had babies). I been thinking for a while about what else I should put into my tank and that’s when I saw bosemanis. So would it be a bad idea to go and get 6 or so of them, if not what should I put into my tank instead?
Thanks!

Hi and welcome to the forum :)

Melanotaenia boesemani should not be kept with White Cloud Mountain minnows because the rainbowfish will eat the minnows.

M. boesemani come from hard alkaline water with a GH above 250ppm ad a pH above 7.0.
Gouramis come from soft acid water with a GH below 150ppm and a pH below 7.0.
Depending on what your pH and GH are, will determine if you can keep rainbowfish.
