Hello everyone. It has been almost a month now since I got my bolivians. They seem to be doing really well and look very happy. However, lately I have seen my male being quite aggresive towards my female. He chases her all around the tank and tries to bite her. Also, sometimes his whole body stiffens and he slaps the female with his tale. Are these breeding rituals or his he just being aggresive? I have looked all over the web but haven't found much info.

Thanks for the help,
Trevo

IME i think thats being aggresive
when they breeding they choose a teritory and defend it together
edit:maybe move the aggresive one to your 40g?
