well i got a bolivian ram 2 weeks ago.

first 4-5 days he was really timid, and had almost no color. now his belly is bright yellow, a little red on his fins, and black stripes and dots on his body.

however, the colors are kind of faint during the day and he does not move much, but he doesnt look stressed at all, just kind of bored......., but during feeding time his colors explode and he looks like a completely new fish, very active and swimming around.

its crazy!! but how do i keep these colors, im not gonna feed him 24/7...

temp is 78, there is a large piece of wood with an opening at one end and a kind of bridge tunnel on the other. lots of plants to hide around i guess.

other fish are 3 ottos, 4 panda corys, 1 peppered cory, 3 platies, and 3 rummy nose tetras

If you got a couple smaller rams, then he would show off color, they can't hurt eachother too much and my smallest ram (1 inch) bosses around the other two, (2 inch, 2.5 inch) So that would be cool.

some more rams would be a good idea, as well as some more rummy-nose tetras

alright, sounds good,

and ironically i just called my lfs a couple days ago to ask if they are getting some rummy's, because ever since i got my first 3, i wanted about 5 more.
and they are getting some monday, so i cant wait till then!
