Also, adding the bogwood doesn't drop your pH all in one shot. It drops fairly slowly so the fish should be able to adapt.
 
How big is your tank? Looking at your stocking you could use a few more barbs, cory and danios.

It's only 90litres, I know what your saying about the quantities but I had an ammonia spike not too long ago and lost 2 danios and 3 barbs. I now have my water sorted and and beginning to restock. Don't want to overstock though, the 2 danios seem very happy, they swim round the whole tank together. My barbs (2 female 1 male) should really be built back up to 6 I think? But then I really wanted a pair of Honey Gourami to finish my community off, and that would be way overstocked?

Hmmm, I know!! I might cancel the Gourami idea and build my barbs up to 6 and maybe my Pandas up to 6? That would still leave my pair of Danios and my Pleco. Would you say that was overstocked?

Well just as an update, I got my Bogwood in and it looks awesome! Clown Pleco has got himself a great hiding place already. Have tried to take a couple pics on iPhone but they don't do it justice! Will try and get something decent and post it on here. Cheers for the advice!
