I'm very happy :D. I was finally able to find a female boesemani. Right now she is in my quarintine tank with a little male i bought. I was planing on putting her and the male in the 55 gal with my other 3 males. Now i'm guessing 4 males to 1 female is not the best ratio. So what problems will i have with these guys?

4 to 1 is definitely not a good ratio.
My guess is that a few of the boys will fight amongst themselves quite a lot, while the others will constantly harass the female.

A much better ratio is 1:1 or 1,5:1. With that last I mean 6 males, 4 females or so.
But for instance 8 males to 4 females (2:1) is also too many males.

Good luck!

Are you planning to breed your boesmani, or just maintain a shoal for community tank purposes?
The ratio that you are suggesting at the moment will undoubtly lead to disaster as the males will be squabbling with each other for the female and the female in turn will be harassed morning noon and night by the ensuing males so much so that she will not last very long.
Much better to have a go at breeding or find some more females. 1 male for every two/three females works best.
P.S. Mealanotenia boesmani are relatively easy to spawn and rear.
