was wondering if somthink was wrong with my male BN or if this was normal

well recently ive noticed that my female BNs hav wanted to breed and he just hits them away with his tail then last nite i noticed that he was actually goin around the tank trying to chase females into his cave

well the thing that i was worryed about was that last nite he was lying on his back in his cave so i lifted lid to see if he was ok an he swam to top of cave then this mornin i noticed him lyin on his side so i opened the lid an he swam off

well is this somthink they do wen they want to breed or is somthink wrong with him??

I see you managed to get some :D

One of my Albino females lays on her back under the bogwood most of the time. I put it down to her chilling out but doubt if its anything to do with your males breeding activity.

All our britlenoses sometimes lie on their backs or sides sometimes. It's as if they'd been sucking onto a surface and just let go.

It's seems to be normal behaviour.

ok thanx

would it help my BNs breed quicker if the light was off or should i have it on??

thanx
