hey all
is it normal for a female to spend lots of time in a cave like a male would?
she is always in one of the male caves just sittin wiv her head out and now the male never goes in there
any help would be great

it depends on how bright the tank is. Bristlenose and most catfish are nocturnal so if the tank is really bright they will hide away under whatever is available.
The other explanation could be she is checking out a possible nesting site.

well its only been the last couple days she has been doin this
so would hav thought if it was the light she would hav dun it earlier
