Hi 2 quick questions for anyone in the know.
1. How long should Bristlenose Plec. live for if looked after well ?
2. Are they slow growers , how long does it usually take them to grow ?
Just noticed , that's 3 questions but any correspondence would be greatly appreciated ...

Not sure how long they live, but I had a male (that I bought as an adult) for 5-6 years before I swapped him off.
They are fairly slow growers; take around 3 years to reach max size, about 8-9 months from hatching to first spawning.

My female is 2 years and 3". I got her when she was 1.5". They don't get that big.
