I've had this Marble Bristlenose for around 7 months now.  Is it old enough to be certain it's a female?  I'm sure my male BN had some bristles by that age.

Changed the source - is it working now?

Maybe 3 inches?  Pretty small compared to my male BN.

Here is a clearer picture of the whole fish, if that helps?  Again, Marble Bristlenose, around 8 months old (at best guess) and around 3 inches long.

Hard to tell, in the first picture I would have said 100% male but not so sure with second photo, now I think it is almost certainly a female and its just the angle in the first photo making its nose long narrower.

Don't suppose you can catch it into a bowl of water and get a photo from above? That way you would likely get an accurate answer

Beautiful little fish though!!

Don't go by bristles though, I personally found the calicos especially to be very slow developers, from batches the same age within days, normal were double the size of calicos. My males didn't even develop stubble, they just went straight to bristles when they were closer to 3"

Chances of catching it are pretty slim - would have to move everything out of the tank to get to it easily, and that'd probably freak all my other fish out too much.  I'll see if I can get a photo next time it's up on the back wall of the tank, though!
