Hi all

I have a albino bristlenose in my community tank and am wondering what to feed him. At the moment he is being fed on algae wafers but i want to give him a bit of variation. Whaty should i feed him and how should i prepare the food?

Thanks.

Good quality (e.g., Hikari) algae wafers are a fine staple. By all means augment this with thin slices of courgette, sweet potato or carrot, weighted down with lead strip or tied to a rock. Cucumber is popular but contains little to no nutrition. Ditto for lettuce. Tinned peas usually go down well. Once in a while, offer a small piece of frozen seafood if you want, for example chopped mussel or prawn.

Cheers, Neale
