hi my male kicked some of the eggs out of the cave so i put them in a net and put a air stone under neath and the next morning i came out and they were floating and had turned into what i can only describe at cotton wool?

The male had kicked them out because they had gone/were going bad. This is why they looked like cotton wool because they hd gone fungusy in the night, which means they won't hatch.

I'd say they were not correctly fertilized and got a fungal infection as they weren't looked after by the parents, nothing to worry about. I assume there are still eggs with the parents that look fine? If not they may try again...

ya there are still loads of eggs i was just wondering why

is there anything i can do to help them breed better?

So long as the tank layout suits (good hiding spots) and water chemistry is good and stable, just leave them be. They're species have been doing this successfully for a very long time

i had a quick peek inside and they have hatched from there eggs and are all at the back i understand that it takes a few days before they will eat the egg sack?

Yep, it will take a few days before they are swimming about and a few more before egg sacks are deminished
