hi all
I am fairly new to plec keeping, but two months ago i purchased a pair of bn plecs for breeding.
they are currently in a 30l biorb on their own. There is plenty of plants and hiding places for them but after reading a few topics on here I thought i amy need a cave or such like?
also could someone please be kind enough to show me what the fish eggs would look like as there are some eggs in the tank. I am hoping from the plecs, if not a couple of new plants came in with a couple of guests!!

thanks a lot

+1, too small and wouldnt have a large enough foot print.

so any suggestions on tank size etc?
anyone got any pics of plec eggs?

If you ultra good on water changes and over filter the tank - you can breed them in a 2x1x1 ft tank (approx 50L)

They spawn in caves and the eggs are avout 4mm round and bright orange.

OK so the plecs shown aren't BN's but you can clearly see the eggs being protected by the male in the back of a cave ;)
