Bluebonnets

Took this the other day when I was out taking photos of my daughter in the wildflowers. Every spring the roadsides and lots of fields in Texas are full of these. These reddish orange ones are called Indian Paintbrush.

Thats a neat color, we have purple, pink and white out where im from

They look like lupins.

They are a related species I believe, but they are all blue and come up volunteer each spring.
