I bought a Blueberry Botia thinking he was a stressed out Red-Tail Shark to go into my Semi Aggressive Tank. I see him maybe 5 min a day. He swims from cave to under tree & back. He's just beautiful & I like him in the tank but 5 min in an 8 hr day kinda sucks. Is there anything that I can do to get him out more, short of yanking his two hiding spots.

If you take out his hiding places then he will be stressed and may die. Try feeding him more often, but in smaller servings so he won't be overfed, after thet he may come out and wait for his food.

I may be wrong, but I thought 'blueberry' botias were dyed skunk botias. They're not very 'social' fish, and are mostly nocturnal. I have two skunk botias in one of my tanks, and I don't see them much.
