blue the bubblenester

so am sitting here at 8:30 am (at work) and watching blue. he lives in an aquaview 1 gal with the UGF on. so he really can't bubblenest (but he seems sad when i turn off the airpump).
anyways, he has a tall plant that some of the leaves reach the surface and has started a nest under that! he is doing the cutest little excited wiggle each time he goes up to get some air for more bubbles. he's like "oooohhh i'm so happy, look what i can do!" LOL
he is now on the other side of his tank trying to get bubbles' attention and she wants nothing to do with him!!!


can anyone tell that i have no desire to do any work today?

My Friday was like that. I was looking around the office spying out locations for betta tanks (I only have one so far, and it's at home). I definitely need more.

That is so adorable. I know what you mean about the wiggling. My boy Bumblebee started building a bubblenest three days ago. It has gotten quite large and everytime he swims past to add a bubble or two he does the exact same thing. Too bad it is water change day and I am going to have to destroy it.

Awww, that is so cute. I was so bummed that Ula, my plakat, never bubble nested. And Kai, my VT, only ever made a real small one once. THen I switched him over the right side of the split tank and Kai over to the left. The next morning I woke up to two huge bubblenests! One from each of my boys!
