I purchased these, labled as Colombian sky blue tetras
I have a feeling they could be Acrobrycon ipaniquianus
Peruvian Sapphire Blue tetras, but they are more than likely
Boehlkea fredcochui Cochus' Blue tetra.

As I have adult B.fredcochui I am able to compaire the two, but
my adults dont appear to have any white on the tailfin.
It could be that the white dissipates as they get older though :dunno:
any ideas?

They look like B. fredcochui to me. I recall them having white markings. Acrobrycon ipanquianus has a fairly obvious red adipose fin which I cannot see in the picture.

thanks LL
there is definately no red on them at all
so they must be Cochus'
