Onw of the LFS near me recently got a new shipment in. They have what they call blue sunset honey gouramis. They're in the same tank with the honey gold gouramis, but a bit bigger. Their fins are blue and bodies look like a traditional sunset/fire gourmai. Anyone seen these before? Are they honeys or dwarfs? I'm a big gourami fan and thinking about getting some of them.

I would suggest you go to google.com and search in images for 'dwarf gourami'. If you see any that resemble the ones you saw, post the pic. I am pretty sure they'll just be an ordinary dwarf morph. If they are honeys, they are likely to be dyed.

They are honey gouramis. I ended up buying 3 of them. They have coloring very much like a sunset dwarf gourami, but the very top of their back is a dull blue color.

I don't believe they are dyed. just some sort of color morph.

Ive not heard of a blue color moprh and neither has my LFS seen these on his supplier lists.

Post some pix so Sylvia can properly Identify them as I am intigued by a new color morph.

They're not Brown Paradise Gouramis are they like these.
