Hello all,

Currently in planning for my 60x24x24 Marine tank and im still deciding on a few things.

If i want to go coral......Can i have a Blue Spotted Sting ray?

Do the sting rays go well with other fish? EG Clown fish, tangs, all go ok with sting ray?

Any advice would be awsome or a direction to look.

Ive seen after some searching other members sting rays and they are awsome.

Also im guessing you couldnt have Clean up crews? Is this true?

Thanks

coral is fine as they are found in and around the reef. That size tank is only going to hold a juvenile. You need at least a 3' wide tank to hold them for life. Also be warned they are one of the hardest rays to keep as they can be very very finiky eaters, many starve to death in captivity. Most reef safe fish are compatable with rays. Whatever you do, do not add any angels (its what got my blue spot). Also you will need a cave area that the ray can hide and bury itself when it feels stressed. They need this area so they don't get over stressed and stop eating.
