Anyone know its L number? I saw some at an lfs and thought they were beautiful but didnt buy one as i didnt know its full adult size.
It was about the size of a bristlenose but with tiny blue spots on it. Marked at £20, i wondered if it was worth the money?

i dont no anything about them but i have seen them and they are stunning, but from what i have read about them £20 is a good price

the only blue spotted plec i can think of is the L128
if it is that £20 is the bargin of the year.
we have a 2" speciamine for sale at work for £69.95

It doesnt look like any of the fish in the links. Its jet black with tiny blue spots.

possibly a peppermint plec... L031 i think...

Planet catfish dosnt show the colouration in the pics though...

Nice plecs - AndyJ on here has one.

Does he have bristles? It's just I picked up a Chaetostoma last week that is blue-ish.

No bristles and theres no blue tinge to the body. Wish I had got one now.
Spots are too big on a peppermint plec for it to be that.
Smithrc has starlight plec pics here that look like them. Imagine them with blue spots rather than white and i didnt notice any white to the fins

Dont know when I will be back there again as its quite far and i dont drive. There was a few and a lovely royal plec for £30 but i dont think my L001 appreciates tank mates. I got a tiny 1 inch albino bristlenose and he goes mental when he sees it.
If i ever do get one i will post a pic of it.
