Blue Motoro Sting Ray

Has anyone ever heard of these.
I am familar with the orange spot, just never heard of a blue.
I am going to look at them tomorwo as they arrive at LFS at 9pm tonight.
I may have to get rid of one of my existing rays (or two) if I like the ray. Just wanted to know if anyone on that side of the pond has seen one yet

they just have a blue ting around the disk edge which will fade with age

no diffrent to a normal motoro if you ask me save your money

Proper blues are this pale colour with the bright blue ring, the darker colored ones only have a very faint ring.
These will darken down abit too.

my lfs has "blue" motoros in stock at the moment, will give them a closer look when next there, might take some pictures as i think im taking the camera with me next time

trust me they they are are the same as normal motoro onece they have been in captivaty for some time the blue will totaly go

Well judging by all the research that I have read (and now seen all those pics.... thanks!), it looks like my two girls are blues that were sold to me as reg motoros.
There is a VERY tempting 2 rays at LFS, antenna rays.
I have not seen them yet, although dying to just go and look though...
What you guys think and how can I arrange to have another ray tank brought in the house without the old man noticing

dont bother with the antenna rays they dont do well in captivaty you will be luck to keep it alive for more than 6 months

back to this blue motoro thing its just a sales pitch to make them sound better and charge more money

they have a blue ting when young due to the area they are fished in with diffrent types of water conditions when the ray has been in captivatly for a few months the blue will fade back to a normal motoro

16inch you fool no need to advertise MFK we all know about it

for a start the pictures you posted of your so called blue motoro pair it may just be me but their is no blue at all on the larger one

i know a verdict has been come to, and this isnt an adult, but just for the record heres the male blue motoro at my lfs
