Blue Lobster - Buy Or Not 2 Buy!

Hi

I am new to this forum...

Iv have really got into tropical fish... i have a 45 gal tank.

I currently have the following fish...

Silver Sharks, Angel, Plecs, gouraims, silver dollars etc

Im interested in buying a blue lobster...

Good or bad idea? What do they eat and do they need a rock out of the water?

Any help would be great...

Hi Rob generally its not a good idea to mix the crayfish with slow moving fish like angels and gouramis as these may well become nipped or even caught and killed.

Im new to this and loving it already... great hobby!

I have silver dollars and i think they ate all my neons! Do you think they would eat shrimps or frogs if i got them instead of the lobster.

Everything you have will eat shrimp, and most would eat neons if they were small.
Dwarf frogs aren't suitable either, although african clawed frogs might be ok.

Also you may already know this but the selection of fish you have will require a much bigger tank as they mature
