:S I have 1 of my Tropical tanks developing blue/green algae it is clinging to all the live plants and dead bits of algae are on the bottom. Has anyone any Idea how to irradicate it Help !!

I had this in one of my tanks, it is the most annoying form of algae I have come across. After several months I finally got rid of it by turning the lights off and covering the tank in a blanket for nearly two weeks. If you have live plants it is a good idea to remove these first, as they will die without light, if you have another tank you can keep them in there temporarily.

Poor water circulation can lead to BGA. Perhaps you can turn the filtration up an notch and fix the problem.
