Help! Our biggest Blue Gourami keeps floating to the top of the tank and hes really pale. Hes not floating on his side tho, hes right side up with his dorsal sticking out of the water. I thought maybe swim bladder? but i read about that and it sounded more like fish sink with swim bladder problems.
He can swim to the bottom still and goes under his favorite branch and kinda keeps himself down there. Also he still will get dark when the other one comes to pick a fight with him, but when its done he goes back to really pale (almost white). He also keeps taking big gulps of air every minute or so while hes at the top of the water (when hes under his branch hes gone 30 mins) Hes been floating at the top for 20 minutes now without really swimming around.
Oh he isnt using one of his fins either. its all clamped together. He can move it and does use it when he swims to the bottom, but the whole rest of the time he wont move it.
What is wrong with my fish and what can I do for him???!!!
