Blue-Eyed Rice Fish

Sorry if this is in the wrong forum - I wasn't sure where I should put it, because I can find no information on these fish on a Google search.

Anyways... I was at my lfs the other day and they had some little fish called Blue-Eyed Rice Fish. I kind of liked the way they looked. Now I'm looking for more information on them. Anybody have any or can you point me in the direction of some? I tried searching Google and found pretty much nothing on 'em. I remembered somebody on TFF mentioning them at some point...

The only "ricefish" I know of is the Japaneese Medaka (Oryzias latipes)
thses are orange and very small.
Maybe what they had was a Lampeye panchax (Aplocheilichthys macrophthalmus macrophthalmus)

I'll try and find a pic I posted of one of my lampeyes.

found it, its not good but shows the very blue eyes
