I have 2 opaline gorami, the male is highly territorial even to the female. I know the more fish i add, the less individually targeted one fish will be.I hope if i add, more lively and semi-aggresive fish he will be put in his place. What about blue arcara chiclid, blue ram, or red-tailed shark. Also, i am interested in discus, jellybean parrots, kuhli loach, von roi tetra, gold nugget plec, kissing gorami, flame gorami, and 2 or three sword tails( 1 male to 2 females) my tank is semi planted and a 25 gallon high.It has a 200 wat heater and a power 10 aqueon silent whisper. It has cycled for 3 month no fish, and one year with my opaline gorami male. I added the female 3 days ago. I know obviously i can't add all those fish, with would be suitable and help agression?

What is the width and length of your tank. You say its high so does that mean its quite short and narrow?

25gal is too small for most of the fish you mention, particularly if it is short and narrow, perhaps the best short term solution is another couple of females but you're not leaving yourself much space for anything else in a tank of that size and even then 4 gouramis will outgrow it.

Best to remove the female or add another one. I have a male by himself in a community, because he harassed his mate to death. The other fish are angels and tetras, he ignores everyone. In a 25 you could have him, 8 von Rio tetras, 6 kuhli loaches and a small pleco (bushynose or froglip).
