Evening All

Well I thought everthing was going fine in my 90g until this past Monday

I got a very frantic call at work from the wife, she had just cracked my tank. :shout:

By the time I got home from work she had managed to save most of my corals (exept some of my Rics, 1 x Coco Worms, 1 of my Brains was smashed by falling, LR)

Oh and my plate coral was smashed as well

I also lost my Manderin, Both Anthias,My new PBT (only got her on Sunday), Bicolor Blenny, All my Sexy & Cleaner shrimp & my porcelin crabs

One of my Clowns died the following day, the other seems fine (who I didnt think would make it)

I hurriedly setup my 4' & all my remaining stock is now in there (althought not exactly suitable), initially it was only half full as I had only just done a water change the day before & hadnt made up any Salted RO

Seen my Pipe fish for the 1st time since the accident today, they havnt been coming out to feed & I feared the worst but they seem fine

Feeling completely S*** & the wife keeps telling me she will buy me another tank but I am just gutted

Great Start to a week eh

Really struggling to convince myself to get another tank as I have lost a lot in this crash

Dan (Sf05) thanks for your PM, offer & kind words :good:

Cheers for the email Keith

I will have to give it a miss as her indoors has put her foot down :shout:

She doesnt know a bargin when she see's one

Time to send her back to that thread! 8)

Sorry to hear about it though, everything was looking really nice :(

Hey Dan

Forgot about that actually - well spotted -

At the moment the tank still looks like a bomb site, but in time ....... :good:

Nasty...How about setting smaller tanks up for species preds... B)

:good:

That stinks! I'm really sorry - but what's the saying? Sh!t happens.

Don't be discouraged and get back with a vengence!! Bigger and better!!! :good:

Oh man. Sorry for your loss dude. Not much I can do to help from here, but if there is, drop a line and let me know. Youll continue to have the SW bug, so no dought youll get back in the game. I hope you continue with the larger tanks.

I recently experienced a similiar loss -

- I feel your pain. Or a portion of it at least...

I'm sorry for your loss, Chac. :byebye:

You have a clean slate to work with now, though, which can be consoling. :)

Wow - sorry to hear about that - a tank crack is the one thing that always concerns me - especialy when its full of rock!
:X

Hope the rebuild works out for you! Have you been checking which walls you could knock out and build a new tank in :p :fun:

Man that sucks, PM me if I can help you. I have an empty 17" cube you could borrow to home some stuff if you need it.

Cheers Alan

If I could have an integrated tank I would - just how cool are they,

Where's my sledgehammer & Hard Hat

Wow Chac, thats gotta be a horrible thing to go through, and I'm glad to see you're taking it pretty well. Was there any significant water damage to the house? Or was the leak slow enough that your girl was able to bucket the water away?

How everything??

I'm glad you re-housed the stock! BIGGER MAN! GO BIGGER!!!

Yeh I'm "under contract" right now with a house and I've already planned where the tank will be going :good:

But I have a 55gal - I'm thinking 110! :D

Chac - just think of this event as the universe's way of saying - "You needed a bigger tank anyway!" B)
