I tried feeding Rye some bloodworms yesterday...again, and he didn't want them. He always seems to ignore me when I try to feed him that. He'll just swim around the front of his tank and start flaring at me -_- . I know they have to get use to new food but I thought mostly every betta loved these? He eats peas fine and has since the first time I gave them to him. The other bettas I have took the bloodworms right away and they loved them.
Oh and when I do try the bloodworms on him he wont take the pellets afterward either. Even sometimes when I don't even try them he wont eat at night. He'll just ignore me. I know I'm not overfeeding him and neither is my brother. We only give him 3 in the morning and try to give him 3 at night.
So should I keep trying the bloodworms or are there just some bettas that will not even try them? What other frozen foods can I give him that not many bettas turn away? How many bloodworms should I give to the other bettas at a time? I know I should only give the worms once a week and the other bettas are really tiny. Their body looks to be less or an inch long. Thanks in advance :)

2-3 worms per fish should be good.

You can feed them worms more often if you'd like. Just probably not everyday.

Maybe you need to stimulate his hunting reflex. Try making the bloodworms move in the water by using a toothpick or your finger.

I made them sink...like putting them underwater and letting them float down. But he just doesn't seem to want them. That's the same thing I do with the peas. Maybe if I try it when he's getting a water change and he's in the bowl. I have to do one today either way. He let so many of those worms fall to the bottom yesterday.

No, the only thing I've tried as frozen foods are bloodworms. I think I'll get some brine shrimp and maybe some daphnia on monday

Your boy sounds a lot like my spoiled rotten little piggies. I have to take an eye-dropper, suck the frozen bloodworms up into it, let a few hang out a bit, and swirl it in tiny circles right in front of their faces. Then they attack it because they are sure it is alive. If I put the bloodworms in without performing this little "ritual" they give me this look as if to say, "You expect me to eat that? I don't think so."
