The title should pretty much sum my question up, but I'll rephrase it:

When you guys talk about feeding your bettas bloodworms, do you mean live or freeze-dried? Which is better, and why?

Frozen are better because they're more easily digestible.
The freeze dried ones, from what I've been told, are like cardboard and hard on their tummies.

AND... I have never met a single betta that didn't love the frozen ones!
Not many of mine like the freeze dried ones.

live or frozen has much more nutrients than freeze-dried. their also easier to digest and easier on the betta's system. food should be rotated thogh, ont feed ur bettas the same thing every day, mix it up a bit ;)

I, for one, prefer freeze-dried. No mess, sterile and cheap. :) They are sterilized so there is no risk of disease or anything that could come in live and frozen. They are also cheaper, which is a plus if you have alot of bettas, but still a plus even if you have one or two. And if you have picky parents, no mess is a really good thing! :p

Mine are fed frozen. I'd probably feed live, but I can't get them, and I don't really want them turning into anything...unpleasant.

I have freeze-dried, but I prefer to powder it and mix it into food cocktails for the Guppies and other critters.

Mine loves the frozen ones, he appears to be bery moody at the moment because the other fish eat them before he gets chance so we have to give him 'special' treatment
