It may change shape it may not. Its a waiting game. My mate had a school of Tiger B. in his tank and 2 were gravid, both looked just like your Tiger Barbs.

You can't tell, it could take a few days or some months.

Looked in my tank today and she is now deflated! No sign of eggs anywhere how ever. She now looks really skinny next to my other tiger barb!

OH and before you lot say anything I know you're meant to keep them in groups but when I started I was ill-advised on how many fish I could have in my tank and also not told about cycling (I realise I should have researched better now) thus the other five died due to ammonia etc. So ill get some more to make up the numbers when I upgrade my tank!

Right, just a few hours ago it had lost the bulge, now its back but worse!
