I have recently acquired some Dalmatian Mollies from a friends tank - one has quite a severe blister on her side.
She's still eating and swimming around just like the others in the tank although she does take some time out every so often next to the heater.
The blister seems to have 'popped' (in the last few hours) and a few scales are protruding, looking like they're going to drop off eventually.
I started a whitespot treatment two days ago, 25% water change today and I've added some aquarium salt and turned the temp up for this evening. Second stage of white spot treatment will commence in two days.
Water levels are correct, even took a sample to the LFS for double checking.
Now Im hoping this blister, or remains of it, disappear for good - anyone else had the same problem?
Did you manage to resolve the problem before it attacked any other fish?
