Hi, recently I inherited some fish from a friend and one of them......a tang cichlid whose name I don't know, seems to have gone blind. His eyes are glazed over and he doesn't eat even when a pellet is right above his head.I don't know what I can do for this fish......Please help!! :dunno:

Cloudy eye is often caused by poor water conditions, although even in perfect water it can appear. Read this it has some excellent info on cloudy eye.

Thank you for that info Danio......the cloudiness(thats what it appeared to be) was only in one eye and my water is fine,so I am going to put it down to physical injury or old age(haven't a clue the age of inherited fish)
Sadly this fish died the day before yesterday, but I appreciate your help in this matter.Thank you.

I' so sorry to hear that, I havn't been on much in the last few days and I very sorry that no-one else replyed to you question. At least you now have the knowlage to help yourself and others should the need arise in the future.
:rip: little chiclid :(
