I bought three big Bleeding Heart Tetras this week (from the saintly Wharf Aquatics .... which I just happened to be driving close to ... well it was no more than ten or fifteen miles out of my way!).
There were only three of them .... and they reckoned they'd be fine. They had far more Rosy's and also some Congo's, both of which were possibilities ... but they all looked really battered and were continually having a go at each other, whereas there wasn't a mark on the Bleeding Hearts; so I guessed they probably had nicer characters!
My question is ... will my three be happy or should I look for another three from somewhere else. And if I do find them some friends, are they likely to tolerate smaller additions, or do I need to look for some more giants. Any of you got experience with them? I love the look of them in the tank.
