Hello Folks ...

Alright thought I would squish a few Green peas into the tank to give My Serpae Tetras a little bit of diversity ...

Squished one in between my thumb and forefinger above the tank ... Yike big mistake ... Danios got the first wack at started chewing like crazy ... thought they were going to GAG to death ... I was almost ready to grab the net and forceps to unblock things ... they seem though to have settled down .. I hope ???

Any tips on using Peas Can Danios digest this stuff ??

Danios can and will eat anything that you try to feed your other fish... they are such little pigs. Just make sure that the peas are pretty well squished or softened. My little danios eat off of the algae wafers that I throw in for my pleco. You would think that I'm starving them or something... sheesh.

Did you cook the peas and remove the shells. I hear that is how you are supposed to do it. I just buy a pea and shrimp mush from my lfs all the fish seem to love it.
