Blanket Weed

Could anyone recomend the best product to get rid of blanket weed out of a pond.
There are lots of products on the market but would like advice on the best one to use.

I found that the cause of my blanket weed was to much phosphate in the water. I tried a UV filter etc but with no luck. I also tries small bails of barly straw but that didn't seem to cure the problem as it was so bad.

I went to the LFS and told them that I had a high level of phosphate in the water, and they suggested phosphate-x (or something like that). You just put it into a flow of water ie under the spray bar in the filter box and hay presto crystal clear water.
