Just did a gravel vac and 20% water change. The gravel vac works well, it’s the first time I’ve used it.
My black widow tetras lost the entire black colour in them, for a little while. But it soon came back, given a little time to calm down. I didn’t know they did that,
is it a normal thing for BW tetras to change colour?
They don't seam any worse for it

What size tank is it and what and how many fish do you have in the tank? It is normal for them to lose color when they are stressed.

The tank is 120cmx45x65, 300L. I've only four BW tetras, two blue dwarf gourami, two pearl gourami and two mollies, two red eye tetras( moving the red eye tetras to a friends tank soonish)
That's twelve altogether.

I'd get a couple more black widow tetras as they like to be in schools of 5 or more. ;) Hope I was able to answer your question about the color fadness.

Yes thank's, the black in them fadded and came back all in the space of an hour, funny little fish.

I've seen that in my neons, they sometimes loose their red and it comes back when I turn the light on.
