Well... yesterday morning I go to the fridge to get the tortoise his greens and Memoo is usually right there and flies and clings to the sides cage for some greens too. She didn't so I do my stupid squeeky, "Memeememoemeomeooemeoo" thing... and she still didn't come to the bars. There she was half in, half out of her igloo . She was three, and had been not drinking as much as she should and I had been giving her SQ fluids every other day, I kind of expected her to go soon.

She was just so active and eating like a pig. Blah!!!

I have stuff coming in the mail for her on Monday... gawd I'm going to ball like a baby when I get that package. Rat toys and no freaking rat

So sorry to hear about your loss; rats are fantastic little animals, and it is always sad to see them go. Maybe to feel a little less badly about the new package of toys, you could donate them to a rat rescue in her memory?

The local pound says they have two young male rats that need good homes and they have to go together. No pics on the website though. But I dunno... I just don't know yet.
