Does anyone know anything about these?

I admit i should have done more research first, but i've got 5 black widows in my 80Litre setup, with a few other species.

The shark seems to chase these around quite a lot, any reason? Other than a dwarf gourami they're the biggest fish below the shark in the tank as i have Harlequin's, silver tip tetras and neons also.

Here they are incase the names i've given are UK 'nicknames'

thanks in advance :)

Black widow's are awesome fish. There more commonly called Black skirt tetras. I have a couple of the long finned variety where all the fins are large and flowing. Also bala sharks need to be in a much bigger tank. I think they need 150 gallons. They grow to 12 inches and need to be in groups.

Here's is a pic of the long-finned variey.

Oooh those are beautiful with the longer fin.

And that damn pet shop keeps selling me back stuff lol, that shark he said would be fine. should i wait till it grows too big or just take it back now?

You should take it back now because if it becomes too big they probably wont take it back.
