Hi,
My two black widow tetras ( i did have a shoal but one by one they have passed away) are 2 years old and one is much bigger than the other. Does this mean one is a different sex or what? Please help. If not how do you sex them(is it possible?)?
Thanks

I don't think its possible to sex tetras of any type, I may be wrong but I don't think you can. You will probably find that the bigger one is getting more food than the smaller one or it may even just have fast growing genes, make sure you little one is getting enough food and they aren't all crammed into the tank and I don't think there is anything to worry about, but I don't think it's got to do with their gender.
HTH,

Neal
