One of my Black Widow tetras has grown a white lump inside his mouth with a red spot on the end.

My water is fine and lfs said it could be bacterial, or cancer, or a cut mouth on sand which has swollen (helpful??!!). Unfortunately he can't close his mouth, but is still eating. I've added some EHSA 2000 in case it can be treated but does anybody have any ideas?

Not sure I ever found out exactly what it was, but it is just about healed. He can shut his mouth now, the ESHA treatment must have worked.

Hooray! I thought he was a goner at 1 point.

Great news, glad he is back to his normal self.
