Black Ruby Barbs Breed With Tigers?

We bought some black ruby barbs this weekend thinking they were some kind of color morph tiger barb. Well come to find out, nope lol.
Just curious to know though if they will breed with Tiger Barbs?

i dont think that they would breed together but they may school together. by the way black rubies spawn in the morning light and the parents will eat the eggs. the eggs hatch in 2-3 days.

Well they better school together lol
I'm really not worried about preserving any baby fish. The tank they're going in to... baby fish really wouldn't survive for very long and would become a snack.
