I have just set up a new Juwel Vison 450, and am very happy with this.

But.....

I have changed the filter - took out the Juwel filter and fitted a canister filter.

The spraybar is the green piping, which looks really odd (I have a black Juwel background).

Any idea where to buy rigid black tubing?

I've been having a quick look online but with no joy - I'm hoping to swap the green spray bar for black pipe (with holes drilled) which will be less noticeable. I tried clear tubing in my other tank, but this tends to go 'milky' after a while, so is no good.

Any ideas?

You could try B&Q for some. That's what my partner is going to do when he sorts a filter out on one of our tanks. :)

Im after 22mm solvent weld pipe and connectors/T pieces, Elbows too - B&Q only do white white sticks out like a sore thumb.

Anyone ???

I don't know but would a plumbers have something similar to what you're looking for?

I've got a Fluval spraybar which is a smokey gray translucent colour, might be any easier way of doing it

Gordon - thanks for the idea - I have just remembered that I have some of this tucked away somewhere, and will try this out - won't be perfect, but may be less 'in your face' than the green.

But, with the lights being quite bright, all of the tank is well lit (I suppose that's the whole point!) and the spraybar does stand out against the very black background.

After spending a small fortune on the tank, I want it to be just right, and think I'll hold out for black pipework - I WILL find some somewhere!!!

You could try screwfix direct, i think ive seen it in the cat or even on-line

Bin that idea! its 20.00mm and you have to buy a stack of it.

I also don't like the spraybars and intakes on any of my canister filters, so I replaced all of them with the Eheim Installation sets. They are not really black, but look allot nicer. They look like these...

They come with the newer Eheim Pro II's, but can also be bought seperately.

Here's what they look like in my tanks...

20 gallon (76 liter) L-046 Zebra pleco tank...
