black phantom going white

got myself 4 black phantom tetra yesterday. one died after losing its ability to swim upright

another has got a none-black dorsal fin. i just looked, and now i can see its whole back (under the dorsal fin) is going white

any idea what's going on?

My orange swordtail is doing the same thing!

He is becoming a silvery white underneath his head and down his belly.

I think he may have an internal parasite because he is thin and has clear, stringy waste.

Maybe some sort of parasite is changing his coloring?
