Black Moor Feeding

hi i have a 1.5" blackmoor called buggie. ive noticed s/he sometimes spits food granules back out but never the flakes. ive just put buggie in a 3g tank to observe while i trial new foods ie peas and lettuce. any suggestions? maybe frozen bloodworms?

If you switch over to the granules he should eventually take them as he gets hungrier. You are doing him a favour moving away from flakes. You can keep him in the main tank while you try out small portions of food. Try a little bit of orange as well, but only as a treat now and again. Goldies will eat most things.
