black lights?

i curently have a 55long tank and my girl has added glowing plants for use with a black light it looks pretty cool @ night but both lights are black lights could this do damage to the fish?

I for a brief time used a black light on my tank...Found it looked to foggy and couldnt really see anything in the tank. I dont think using one would hurt the fish in any way....but i may be wrong B)
