black knife ghost fish

That's not aggression, that's the food chain ;)

I've heard that BGK's will fight to the death with one another, but they are unaggressive t other fish :)

I own one and have never seen any agression with the exception of him defending his cave.

If mine is out during day light he is scavaging for food... period. The rest of the time he is in his cave. At night (I have a diy moonlight) he will come out and swim around, and for all the time I have had him (9 months) I have never seen him be aggressive to any other fish.

dwarfs is right though, any fish that can fit in his mouth is food (at this point for me that is just fry- and he did a pretty good job of cleaning up the few fry I had in the tank.

I have two BGK's - occasionally one (the more dominant of the two) chases the other around - nothing sinister - no fin nipping or any damage to either.

They both seem very content - rummaging around in the tank looking for algae tablets (which they absolutely love and will try their hardest to eat in one sitting!)

Mine love weaving themselves in plants!

Make sure you have hiding places though, (at least one each - and more for other fish that like to hide).

Watching them go for live bloodworm is a sight to behold!

If you don't have some, I'd recommend them (bear in mind they get BIG).
