i need to no everything about them,

what size do they reach in cative?
what tank mates can they go with?
wt size tank?
what they eat?

Got my first Black Ghost Knife yesterday... I will upload the pics later on. I have no time right now.

I will also tell you what I have in the book about them. But I know they will grow 10 - 12" captive. But get 12 - 24' in the wild...

size = 18-20"
tank mates= anything large enough that it won't fit into their mouths, can go with peacful fish such as gouramis, angles and discus
tank size = 48", your standard 55gallon will do well they're small
they eat= live food (feeders, blood worms, tubixflex worms, brine shrimp), frozen foods, sometime sinking pellets...

Bgk's dont reach the 18"- 20" mark in tanks. they will reach probs 15" i have a 2" one in my 30 gal until he gets bigger then hell go into probs 70 gal or so... and yes great fish to have with discus and angels

Purchased a 125 tanker last night... Plan to put him in there when the tank is finally ready MUCH later on. I also plan on geting a Silver Arrowana down the road at some point (which was the first fish I ever really wanted back in 1988). Seen/heard that this combo in fine since the BGK is mostly a bottom dweller whilst the Arrow is a surface species.

i dont think id trust that combination of fish,silver aros get massive in comparison to bgks

I have seen 50cm BGKF. They get BIG!

Silver aro's get a lot bigger.... easy 120cm I believe.
