Black Ghost Knife Fish

Soon i will hopfully be upgrading my 90l tank to a jewel rio 180l fish tank
and i would like to know....
will my black ghost knife fish be affected by t5 lighting because my cousin says that it could possibly get cancer?!
i'll probley put alot of covered areas for him to hide but i want to know just incase

I don't really know about that, but if it's a bright light you could always add some floating plants in.
With that and extra hiding places he will be fine
