I have a bit of a problem. When feeding me angel fish the ghost knife don't have a look in of blood worms. Here is my problem, the man at the pest store said to feed him at night. Problem is that my angel fish might be a sleep but my sword tail ant. I have been feeding him by capturing him puting him in a breeding box (net) and feeding him 1/3 of a cube of blood worms as he barley eats that. Now to be honest I think that's stress ful for the fish. Is there any way were I know the fish getting feed properly because at the moment he is my prized persesion. Any appionions would be great

thanks luke

Is is just the bloodworm he cant get before the angels?

You could try part of the block one end first for the angels in a bloodworm feeder. Not used one myself just seen them on the net. Its almost like a tea strainer you put the worms in and the fish suck them through the holes, then the other bit the other end for the ghostie. If that doesnt work try bloodworm pellets, they sink faster than the frozen stuff.

I feed mine Tetra Prima. I sprinkle it along the top of the tank at normal feeding time (not night). Most of the fish come to the top to get it and catch it as it slowly sinks. The BGK comes out from behind his bit of bogwood and waits for it to land on the gravel in front of him and then he picks at it off the gravel.

It really needs more than just bloodworms for its diet. I found mine loved tetra prima, sinking cichlid pellets (Hikari), mussel, cockle, brineshrimp, prawn and he also adored fresh cucumber (weigh it down to sink it).

Just found out my Black ghost knife loves its Tetra flakes.

Thanks for all the reply's

Luke
