black eye

hello my CAE has a black ring around one of its eyes, will it heal by itself?

its a gold algae eater but it says Chinese algae eater at my lfs.
so........will the balck ring around its eye heal byitself?

Like a black eye? - maybe he got into a fight. I've read that CAE's can be a nasty bit of work when they mature. What's the black like - it's difficult to suggest a diagnosis when the symtoms are so uninformative. Sorry I couldn't be more helpful, but maybe if you could supply more info, then you'd get a more in depth answer

well i only relised he had a black eye when i got home(it was bought from the lfs yesterday) its like a black ring around the eye, it looks like it has blood inside the ring. but the eye isnt cloudy or anything.
